UMI is a West African term for Life.

UMI Fashions was founded in 1995 by a small group of individuals who believe that life includes embracing the culture of others and making it a part of their own.

The clothing lines featured at UMI are selectively handpicked to meet the needs of the Savvy, Conservative, Frugalistic or Fashion Conscious You.

Once we select a style we only stock small quantities. This is in keeping with our commitment of uniqueness to our customers.

At UMI, our lines compliment and declare A fit for any Lifestyle.

Social Mission

The quality of our society is measured by how we relate to the less fortunate and challenged among us.

Through community fashion shows and other fund raising events, UMI meets the needs of this sector of our society.

We are the producers of the UMI Ultimate Makeover show, the Virgin Islands Premier reality TV series, dedicated to transforming lives through Fashion.

Some of our annual fund raising events include Rhythm & Style, a fund raising Catwalk event used to raised funds for the Family Support Network and Super Mom's and Models.
